Nursery Admissions
All Solihull school are responsible for their own nursery admissions policy. In order to provide as much information as possible for parents, please see below for our Nursery Admissions policy, along with information about the government 30 hour free childcare.

Children can be admitted to Nursery in the term after they become 3 years old. We admit children at the beginning of each term in September, January and April.
All children of Nursery age in England receive 15 hours a week of free early education. At Woodlands, this can be extended to 30 hours if parents meet the eligibility criteria.

Reception Admissions
Woodlands Infant School follow's Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council's admission arrangements for Reception aged children.
Each year the council publishes information detailing the admission arrangements for Solihull schools. The information is available from the School Council admissions team on 0121 704 6693 or from their website at www.solihull.gov.uk/admissions
You can apply for a place online at http://www.solihull.gov.uk/enrol
Reception application forms are available from the Solihull Council School Admissions Team twelve months before the child is due to start in Reception.
Attendance in a school nursery will not give any priority for a place in the Reception class at the same school. A Reception application form must be completed.
Our Reception intake is 60 children each year. Children who are aged 4 years on 31st August are eligible for admission to school from 1st September.
