About the PTA
Woodlands Infant School is very fortunate to have a friendly and active Parent Teacher Association (PTA), which plays an important role in bringing our school community together.
Our PTA provides a valued link between home and school and helps to enrich school life for our pupils beyond the classroom.
Throughout the year, the PTA organises a range of fundraising and social events for families to enjoy. Money raised is used to enhance resources, opportunities and experiences for our children, helping to make Woodlands an even more engaging and enjoyable place to learn.
We are very grateful for the continued support of our families and for the time, energy and enthusiasm they bring to our school community.
How to Get Involved
All families are automatically part of the PTA, and we warmly welcome any offers of help.
There are lots of ways to get involved, including:
- joining the PTA committee
- supporting events
- helping with preparations
- volunteering when time allows
- sharing ideas for future events or fundraising
An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held early each academic year, where the PTA committee is elected.

Match Funding
Many employers offer match funding schemes, where they agree to match some or all of the money raised by their employees for charity or community events.
If your employer offers match funding, this can make a huge difference to the amount raised for our school. Please see the information below or contact the PTA if you think you may be able to help.
