Starting Reception
Starting Reception is a very special milestone in your child’s Woodlands journey. We know that moving into school life can feel exciting, but also a little overwhelming at times, and we are here to support both children and families every step of the way.
In Reception, children continue to learn through play, exploration, stories, songs, creativity and carefully planned adult-led teaching. We help children build confidence, develop independence, make friends and begin to see themselves as successful learners.
